Today, it's not uncommon to see someone who has taken the blue, red, yellow, green, blonde you name it, plunge with their hair. Don't hate; it's the season of expression, and changing ones' hair color is one way to get started. Let's face it, except blonde; the only "natural" hair color is red. Therefore, if you're trying to avoid looking like a Cirque De Soleil cast member and you want to go the red route, your new look won't look "natural" unless you have freckles. However, if a change is all you're after, it's all water under the bridge.
Now, think for one moment about your favorite celebrity. Got the picture? Now, picture them reimagined to have red hair and features. If you haven't heard of the Put a Rang on it (not Queen Bey's song) Tumbler and Instagram accounts, you're in for a treat.
In simple terms, the brilliant creators Photoshop images of celebrities by turning their hair red, along with the obligatory freckles and other finer features. After the makeover, they assign the celeb a "ranga" name (nickname). It's all in fun, but some of the transformations are wondrous.

Thor never looked so good, right? No matter how you make him up, Chris Hemsworth maintains his handsome and hunky self. Like his hotheaded Avengers colleague, the Hulk, who, on occasion appears red in the comics (Red Hulk), with Chrang's new do, shall we call him, Red Thor?

2. Charlize Therang
The South African-born actress with a stately, model-like figure was born a blonde with blue eyes. Charlize dyed her hair black in the lead role in Aeon Flux as a badass assassin and managed to pull it off in convincing fashion. Going the way of a redhead is a drop in the bucket for this versatile actress.

I admit; the picture isn't flattering, but this tried and true Texan with the heavy drawl can slip into any role or persona at the drop of a dime. Not convinced? After he had pulled off the part as a redneck, drug addict electrician in Dallas Buyers Club -- and won an Oscar -- it left me saying, "Alright, alright, alright!"

Of all the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, we love Kourt the best. We've watched her wade through the tsunami storm called Scott and come out on top. After enduring that moment in her life, the petite beauty is entitled to turn a new leaf with a head full of red. And we applaud her for it -- even if it's make-believe.

He's built a successful career as America's favorite professor of astrophysics. Is it me or does this photo look like everyday Pharrell? The Voice judge is a fashion beast and plays around with hairstyles every once in a while. In early February at the 2016 Grammys , the "Happy" singer debuted his blonde looks. The G-Star co-owner joined growing lists of other celebs that've dumped their birth color hair for the rebellious allure of a short platinum crop. Now, that's gangsta!

Some tidbits you may not know about redheads:
Redheads are in rare air; no lye (pun intended). According to Huffington Post , ginger hair colored people (for all you politically-correct hair mavens) have strong hair; gingers cannot dye it unless they bleach it first (aargh, who would want to do that?); redhead slaves in the Roman days were kept at higher prices; redhead people cannot go grey; reddies can produce their own vitamin D.
