A pop-up restaurant in Chicago is making headlines this week. The eatery is a Saved By The Bell diner, bringing people right back to the 90s with its colors, tables, and even "The Table" that every fan of the show remembers with ease.

The restaurant, appropriately named "The Max," sold $35 dinner tickets for the next three months, bringing them to full capacity. However, there is still a chance that you could score a table if you're in the area and willing to wait in line.

"We actually held some room for limited walk up at dinner, and then all brunch and late night programming, which is after 11 p.m. daily, open to the public, no reservations," explained Derek Berry , who had the brilliant idea to bring "The Max" to life.

Cartoons have been a part of nearly everyone's life since the early days of animation, and no matter how old you are they've kept changing with the times, but looking back on the classics its easy to understand how some fans could become obsessed. Case in point: the places our favorite animated characters call home.

No matter what a person's age, there are certain cartoon characters that remain someplace in their hearts, be it the way they speak, the way they dress, the way they eat or the place where they live.

There are some people who were so fascinated with the cartoon characters' homes that they couldn't overcome their desire to live in one by themselves. These photos shows the extent to which some fans idolize their favorites, with loose recreations or flat-out replicas of the homes they live in...

Flintstones-like Houses

This stone house is inspired from the one in 'The Flintstones' and looks amazingly similar to the one in the cartoon. In spite of its unusual look, given by the huge spherical boulder on the uphill side and scoop-shaped end, it is like most contemporary homes on the inside. It has a front door, some windows, and a roof. This house is located in Nas Montanhas de Fafe in Portugal.

Late TV producer Dick Clark built his own Flintstones-style house in Malibu, California. The story goes that a wildlife conservation group didn't want Clark to build on the land, which abuts the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreational Area. Clark was very adamant about doing so, but then his architect was able to help both sides reach a compromise when he suggested building a home that looked like a natural rock formation.

This home (above) is actually called "The Flintstone House" and is in Hillsboro, Calif. It can be seen from the Interstate and was once even more prehistoric-looking before the orange paint job.

The Simpsons' House

The Simpsons' house exists for real and is an exact replica of the house in the cartoon series, inside and out. This house was built by Fox in 1997 to promote the show as part of sweepstakes they ran with Pepsi. The winner opted for a $75k cash payout instead of the house, which was valued at the time at $120k. Since then it has been repainted and stripped of all the interior decorations and converted into a regular house. It is located in Henderson, Nevada.

Minnie Mouse's House

Minnie Mouse doesn't have one, but she has two houses that exist for real. Both the houses have been created by Disney, and, of course, one of them is in Disneyland in California and the other is at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. However, the Disney World version is no longer open to the public, but the one in The Disneyland is. This pink and lavender house not only looks cute on the outside but is fully equipped on the inside as well.

Snoopy's House

This is a giant and exact version of Snoopy's house which has been used as an information kiosk for a baseball field complex, part of the Charles M. Schulz Museum, in Santa Rosa, California.

Hobbit House

This amazing and real version of Bilbo Baggins' Hobbit House was built by Simon Dale. He isn't an architect and was never a construction worker, but with the help of his father-in-law and some passers-by, he built this beautiful home. It took them just four months to finish and cost around 3000 pounds. He, for real, turned his dream into reality. Don't forget, the first version of Bilbo's house actually was from a cartoon!

Hello Kitty House

Hello Kitty is probably the most famous kitty in the world and fans are usually rabid when it comes to what kind of merchandise they can get their hands on. This Hello Kitty house (yes, there's more than one!) is a hotel and follows the theme of pink entirely. The house above is located in Taipei, Taiwan.

Heidi's House

Okay, so it's not from a cartoon, but this mountaintop home looks way too similar to Heidi's grandfather's house. The house looks really lovely with the breathtaking scenery in the background.

Batman's Mansion

This house was built with Batman in mind. The house looks all mysterious and gothic and is a clear reminder of the most famous mansion in Gotham city. Of course, It's not that far of a stretch to recreate Bruce Wayne's mansion. What we'd really like to see is a real life Batcave.

Barbie's Dream House

This modern Barbie house was created by interior decorator Jonathan Adler on the eve of Barbie's 50th birthday. In March 2009, he decked out a real-life 3,500-sq ft. pad overlooking the Pacific Ocean to look like the famous doll's home. The Barbie's Real house is located in Malibu, California.

Snow White Cottages

On the theme of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, these little fairy-like cottages has been designed in Los Angeles. These cottages are given on rent and are almost the exact replicas as in the Disney movie.

Up House

'Up' is one of the best animated movies ever made. And a Utah-based builder was so fascinated by the movie that he built an exact replica of the house. The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, but, unfortunately it didn't include any balloons! The house sold for $400,000 in 2011.

Joanna Gaines of the popular HGTV series "Fixer Upper" was particularly proud of the "Barndominium" she and her husband Chip renovated in Waco, Texas, earlier this year, calling it one of her favorite projects to date. She posted on her blog , "This was definitely one of the most fun transformations to watch simply because it didn't start out as a home, it was built for animals!"

The property was originally owned by the Meek family, but they never occupied it because they were transferred out of state. The new owner, Kristi Bass, is now offering the five-bedroom, two-bathroom property for rent. It includes a grand dining hall and is nestled on 16 acres of land. The Barndominium "remains almost identical to what aired on Season 3, episode 6 of the famous TV renovation show," according to the rental listing .

The structure sleeps up to 15 people and costs, on average, a whopping $1,200 a night. Currently, there are about 12 homes, including the Barndominium, from "Fixer Upper" that are being rented out on sites such as Airbnb and VRBO, according to the Waco Tribune .

While fans of the show may be excited to rent the place for a girl's weekend or a family reunion, neighbors aren't thrilled about the property being turned into a vacation rental. They are worried about traffic, too many people crowding the lake, and the possibility that the designation will negatively affect their property values.

Dennis Hovde, who lives next door, said (via WacoTrib.com ): "To me, it's a no-brainer. They can't allow it. I'm going to fight this tooth and nail because I do not want this."

The city council is examining the issue and looking into whether proper zoning codes can be put into place to allow this type of business in the area. Meanwhile, the owner promises to keep it "a very exclusive and remote spot for high-end clientele."

The Barndominium was originally used as a horse barn but was later converted into a living space with a small apartment upstairs and garage and storage downstairs. Joanna and Chip helped transform the building into a functional and practical home by adding a staircase to the upstairs, french doors and large windows. Chip also built a 17-foot table for the dining room. Shiplap (wooden siding) was installed throughout the house. They kept the kitchen upstairs to save money.

The new owner describes the property in the following way: "Six of these acres are heavily wooded & perfect for a wildlife expedition. The property is nestled alongside the banks of a spring fed (20-acre) bass filled lake, perfect for that trophy fish!" Renters are also welcome to kayak, lounge float or take a dip in the nearby lake.

So what do Joanna and Chip think about Barndominium and their other renovated homes being rented out as vacation rentals?

Last month, Brock Murphy, a spokesperson for their business Magnolia, said in a statement (via the Waco Tribune ): "We have no problems with our clients' interest in using sites like VRBO and Airbnb to rent out their homes. In fact, we get it. But we are going to be more strict with our contracts involving Fixer Upper clients moving forward. We want to honor our national viewing audience."

So, basically, what's done is done. But future clients of Joanna and Chip will probably have a more difficult time profiting off their homes.

"We want to do remodels for clients' homes. That's the true intent of our show, and we want to ensure that does not get lost in this new vacation rental trend," Murphy continued. "What started off with perfectly understandable intentions could cast a shadow of a doubt on the much bigger picture, and we are going to do our best to protect that moving forward."

2. Matt Hardy And Jeff Hardy

Matt and Jeff Hardy, aka the Hardy Boyz, won several tag team championships together and singles titles, only to have things morph into an unexpected sibling rivalry between the two. The clash came to light when Jeff was competing in Royal Rumble against Edge in 2009 and Matt hit him with a chair, costing him the title.

3. Stephanie McMahon And Vince McMahon

This has been one of the most historic betrayals in the WWE, daughter against father. When Stephanie McMahon was getting married to the late Martin Andrew aka Test, Triple H interrupted the ceremony and married Stephanie himself by drugging her (they're actually married in real life). To decide whether the marriage would stand or be annulled, Triple H and Vince had a match where it was revealed that Stephanie was with Triple H from the beginning as she wanted to get revenge on her father.

4. Randy Savage And Hulk Hogan

Randy "Macho Man" Savage and Hulk Hogan were one of the most powerful and dominating teams in WWE, but their friendship started hitting the rough patches and became increasingly tense. The growing closeness between Hogan and Savage's girlfriend, Miss Elizabeth, was the main reason for the end of their friendship.

5. Stone Cold And WWE

The epic betrayal in which Stone Cold Steve Austin betrayed WWE and joined WCW/ECW. This started when Austin was asked to join the WWE, and then in the 10 man tag-team match, he betrayed the WWE and helped the alliance take away the victory.

6. Bret Hart And Owen Hart

This is another instance of sibling rivalry. Both the brothers fought in many tag team championships but after some tension between them arose, Owen suffered a knee injury and and the match was stopped by the referee. This infuriated Bret like never before and he kicked at the injured knee of his brother and left.

7. Vince McMahon And The Rock

It was the fatal four way match of WrestleMania 2000. Vince was supporting The Rock, who battled his three opponents well, but Vince wanted to keep the title in the family so he betrayed The Rock in order for Triple H to win. He attacked Rock with a steel chair, which helped Triple H to pin him down and take away the title.

8. Shawn Michaels And Marty Jannetty

Popularly known as The Rockers, their fans were devastated with the news of a rift between the two. In 1991, Michaels was seen kicking Jannetty and tossing him into a glass window. This left Jannetty in a bloody wrecked condition. This was apparently the result of jealousy.

Actress Mackenzie Rosman is most known for playing the adorable Ruthie Camden on 11 seasons of the popular 90s family drama "7th Heaven," which debuted 20 years ago.

Rosman landed the role at age 6 after personally shaking everyone's hand during her audition. At 27, she still sports her signature curly hair and vibrant smile.

The cast and crew of "7th Heaven" were so tight that producers made a special effort to honor Rosman's stepsister in two episodes. Katelyn Salmont battled Cystic Fibrosis and appeared on the show as herself. After successfully receiving a double lung transplant, Salmont reappeared on the program. She died at age 22 in 2008 from pneumonia and Cystic Fibrosis.

Rosman is a big supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Childhelp Inc., which helps severely abused children. She has also been involved with CureFinders, a program that helps fund a search for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

Every year in September and October, Universal Orlando transforms its usual playful facade into a ghoulish theme park with a singular mission -- to scare the bejeezus out of its guests. And once again they've succeeded.

Halloween Horror Nights 26 opened over the weekend, and thousands of horror buffs poured into the park to experience nine haunted houses, five terrifying scare zones, and two live stage shows. There's something for everyone -- even those who regularly avoid watching horror films and TV shows (ahem, this girl).

New this year are three original haunted houses and six based on pop culture: American Horror Story, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist, Halloween II, The Walking Dead, and Krampus.

If you can only visit one house, make sure it's American Horror Story . This writer has only seen a couple of episodes from the creepy FX series, and ironically one of those scenes made it into Universal's haunted house (hint: it involves a bed at the Hotel. Cue spine tingling shiver now). This particular house, or maze, contains sequences from the first season of the series, "Murder House," as well as "Freak Show" and "Hotel." Without giving too much away, the creators did an excellent job of transforming the show from the small screen into a terrifying live-action experience.

Another highlight from HHN26 is The Exorcist . The 1973 film was the first horror movie to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture. There are two types of people who enter this maze: those who've seen the movie and those who haven't. It's difficult to gauge who gets more freaked out by this haunted house, which centers on a 12-year-old girl who is possessed by a demon and the priests who try to drive the evil force out of her body. Yes, there's vomit. Yes, there's head spinning.

In what's become a HHN staple, The Walking Dead is another one of the highlights of the annual event. It's always one of the most popular mazes and features scenes from seasons one through six of AMC's zombie series. Untold stories from the previous years are included in the house, which centers on favorite moments from the beginning of the show until now.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is based on the iconic slasher film from 1974. The maze follows the actual ground plan of what would have been the homestead house. There are a lot of leather faces. And a lot of chainsaws. Another slasher favorite is Halloween II , a sequel to the 2014 maze, which tells the rest of Michael Meyers' story. The horror comedy Krampus is also featured at HHN26. What makes this one stand out is that it's a Christmas maze with gingerbread men, elves and more. It's quite detailed, and be sure to look in the kitchen sink for a little bit of a laugh.

This year's mascot is Chance, billed as the right-hand woman of Halloween Horror Nights legend Jack the Clown. She is featured in original maze Lunatics Playground 3D: You Won't Stand A Chance . This is the only 3D maze of the lot, and it takes participants into a trippy, neon nightmare that you can't wait to escape. HHN26 show director Patrick Braillard told members of the press during the event's opening night on Sept. 16: "She was taken and locked away, and that was the biggest mistake they could have made, because for Chance, getting locked away wasn't a sentence. It was a joy. They locked her in a confined area with 400 potential victims. There's a problem with that. Chance is going to break out." The disorientating house follows Chance as she takes over the asylum with a bunch of maniacs.

Another original maze this year is Tomb of the Ancients . One of the defining features is the detritus that hangs from the ceiling that participants must constantly brush out of their faces as they walk through small pathways under low ceilings while trying to avoid monsters and creatures who lunge out of the darkness. "If you're claustrophobic, you're going to have a problem with this maze," Braillard warned. "It is one of the most impressive environments that we've ever had in our tenure."

The third original haunted house is "Ghost Town: The Curse of Lightning Gulch." The creators revisited a story from 2004, which centers on miners and settlers who found gold but didn't realize it was cursed. Everybody got caught up in gold fever and died, and guests get to see what happens when they set foot in the ghost town.

In addition to the nine haunted houses, there are two live stage shows: the popular Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure , which focuses on pop culture bits and lots of sexy dancing, and Academy of Villains House of Fear . There are also five scare zones that have been described as haunted houses without roofs. Be on the lookout for "Survive Or Die Apocalypse" in New York, "Chance in Hell" in Avenue of the Stars, "Vamp '55" in downtown Hollywood, "Dead Man's Wharf" in San Francisco and "Lair of the Banshee" in Central Park. "These five environments are also joined by roaming hoards of chainsaws," Braillard pointed out. So if you don't like chainsaws, you're in trouble.

Angelina Jolie's 12-year relationship with Brad Pitt has ended. The pair started dating in 2004 and wed in France in 2014. The actress filed for divorce on Monday after just two years of marriage, according to TMZ . The star cited irreconcilable differences for the split.

Jolie, 41, allegedly wants physical custody of the couple's six children -- Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne, and Knox, both 8 -- and Pitt, 52, to have joint legal custody. Sources told TMZ that Jolie disagreed with Pitt's parenting methods, had issues with his "anger problem" and became "fed up" with his use of weed and possibly alcohol consumption.
